Let me tell you three things...

1. I dived into this book with very little expectation because the previous 2 books I attempted to read were a total fail (though I fell in love with the blurb, but then again it was the same for the other books, I learned not to judge a book by its..blurb?).

2. I find myself sleeping 6 in the morning and I wasn't even halfway done... Not even close. But damn, It was so hard to fight reading vs sleeping.

3. Now left with few chapters and reached the climax and now I want to delay the inevitable. I don't want this to end. Why all standalone books are freaking amazing?



Updated: The inevitable. I finished the book. I’m not going to waste my time reiterating its blurb but rather let’s jump into how I feel about this book right away.

I think it’s pretty much obvious that I fell in love with this book. I don’t why I didn't discover this when it came out.

I am just amazed by the characters, Jessie, Ethan, and SN. God, SN?! He is a very original character in my opinion. I can definitely relate to both SN and Jessie, being more vocal when it comes to writing what's in their head, or shall I say typing?

I agree with the reviews, saying that the last 4 chapters were kind of rushed. There are still quite a few rooms for adding events between Ethan and Jessie or more after SN big reveal. IDK I’m just hopeless romantic maybe. In any case, I would love an idea of a companion book in Ethan’s perspective. I just can’t accept that it is done.

Why is this not a series?

So still, I’m giving a 5 out of 5. This will definitely go into my “favorites” shelf on Goodreads. And I’m intrigued to read more of Julie’s work.
